F1 Student Visa Information

The International Language Institute, MD, is authorized under Federal law to enroll individuals with an F-1 student visa as well as other non-immigrant foreign students.  For students enrolled in our Intensive English Program, we can issue the I-20 form.  With the I-20 form, you can apply for the F-1 student visa at your local American Consulate or Embassy. F-1 students need to be enrolled in our Intensive English Program to maintain their status.

All of the International Language Institute's programs are accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET). ACCET is a national accrediting agency listed by the United States Secretary of Education.

Health Insurance

In the United States, individuals are responsible for paying for their own medical care costs. In general, these costs are very high. To prepare for the financial responsibility of unexpected illness or injury, all international students on F-1 visas at the International Language Institute, MD, should have health insurance.
